STAMFORD BRIDGE TO OLD TRAFFORD: JUAN MATA

Arguably the most talked about transfer of the winter transfer window. Manchester United club record swoop for Juan Mata seems to be all the fans want to talk about....and it’s not just the Red Devil fans here. Some Chelsea fans consider it an aberration; others think it’s for the best; Mata is a quality player and deserves to play more. Arsene Wenger has spent the past week crying that it is unfair seeing as his side still have to face United in the premier league (surprising from the man who sold Van Persie to the Reds of Manchester). To others it’s a tactical game by the London club. Chelsea have already played both their fixtures against Manchester United while the rest of the top four still have to go against the league champions.... In all honesty, if Mata can turn United’s woeful season around then it bodes well for Chelsea and their chance of being crowned league champions.....and if he can’t......they have nothing to lose having already drawn the first and won the second league fixture against the Reds. From here on, a victory for United is a victory for Chelsea. One thing is sure, Juan Mata is the kind of player United need upfront; a player with an eye for that killer pass and an eye for goals... (They are still lacking defensively though)
