What's on the other side?, we all at one time or the other ponder what life would have been like if we had taken a particular chance or opportunity we once had... The Fear of the unknown and rejection consumes us and prevents us from doing what we want... Right now, there is an opportunity in front of you to be a better person, or be in a better financial status, or a higher position but you have refused to make good use of it... You procrastinate and postpone like you would be young forever, you lazy about like time would stay still for you, you make decisions like you do not understand the phenomenon of "consequence"...Learn to live up to your own expectations. if your dreams for your future do not scare you, your dream isn't big or good enough, Dream more! but don't forget to stay awake( because that's where all the real fun is). I want you to decide today to make the best of every moment, to make today the beginning of the best years of the rest of your life (not necessarily reading your ass off, or working like you won't live till tomorrow).  Take baby steps or a bold decision to stop being lazy or procrastinating your activities, think of the kind of child you want to have and be that child for your parent. Trials, Heartbreaks, Test of perseverance, and many other difficulties may or would most definitely come your way but the key to overcoming them is taking your own advice- think about your problems, imagine someone you care dearly about has such issues, what would be the best advice you could give? How would you suggest the person pulled through such hardship?, Now take your own advice - When you see a chance, take it!, when shyness get's the better of you- count to 3 really fast and just do it!, it's a matter of "pass" or "try again"- and with this positive attitude in life, more opportunities would always come unless God says otherwise... I hope i was able to communicate my point, because i just realized that i have not been taking all my own advice and from this day i intend to... Believe me, it feels good when you realize your loose ends and figure out how to amend them.    And yes i know, i preach too much *covers face*

Children For Sale????

Hilarious! but a serious issue tho... I just read an article, more like "news" in the vanguard online news about a man that tied his seven (7) children to a wheel barrow looking for interested buyers... This depressed and frustrated man firmly tied his children's hands to the wheel barrow as he headed to an unknown destination hoping to sell the children, saying he was fed up with his diminishing economic fortune...
   This 44 years old father, Isreal  Dike (a native of Odenkume, Obowo local Government area of Imo state but resides in Ugwu Ekwema, Egbu Road, Owerri) would have sold his children if not for the interference of a high powered team led by the commissioner of women affairs, Nma Onyechere after following a tip off... After the interference Mr Dike claimed he wanted to sell some of his children to take care of the others, he also blamed Governor Rochas Okorocha  as the cause of his situation( he said the Governor made him a promise a while back and hasn't fulfilled it till date). Commissioner Nma described Mr Dike as a depressed man, who is mentally deranged to the reporters at the scene... Answering a question, she also said the ministry would give the children out to foster parents to ensure proper care and education...
      *Shaking my head* at the Father of the children, i don't understand why you should have so many children if you don't have the resources to take proper care of them... Even if you can't control your urge for regular sex, at least use a condom or any other family planning methods...

     I know why i want mine, I definitely love the luxury, the comfort and the respect that comes with it, But most of all I want my OPINION to count, i want my VOICE to be heard even when i whisper... there are too many things wrong in this world, too many things too late to change, and still so many i want to change... I want the Power to influence rules and laws that oppress the masses and weak, i want the Fame and Influence to start a positive trend that everyone would follow, i want to talk and people would listen, i want the love of the God the world and my family, i want to be seen as a pillar for positive change, i want people to have faith and believe in a better future just because of me, i want to "die" but still be "alive" in the hearts of every single soul, i don't want to be God but i want to be one of his favorite servants, i want so much and still be able to give out too much, i want to be the reason why someone wipes off his tears and takes a leap of faith... i want to have it all and still be able to give it all... google's smart contact lens project

google has begun working on an intelligence contact lens that's built to help control diabetes - a disease affecting one in every 19 people on the planet - by measuring the glucose levels with mini embedded electronics. developed by Brian Otis and Babak Parviz, the project uses a tiny wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor embedded between two layers of soft contact lens material, as glucose level change frequently with normal activity like exercising or eating or even sweating, the concept aims to continuously monitor body fluids such as tears instead of blood drops, which require users to prick themselves for samples throughout the day. The sensors and chips will measure approximately the same size as bits of glitter, and the antenna thinner than a human hair.
   Prototypes that can generate a reading once per second  are still being tested, they are also exploring integrating tiny LED lights that would light up to indicate that the glucose level has crossed above of below a certain threshold... This is a great step into the future of possibilities...

Devil Baby Attack!

To promote an upcoming horror film, DEVIL'S DUE, an horrifying yet humorous prank was played on unsuspecting New Yorkers... This brilliant "prankvertisement", titled Devil Baby Attack was created by NYC-based viral marketing agency THINKMODO....
   The prank involved a remote-controlled baby carriage roaming the streets of New York. When concerned citizens approached the seemingly unattended carriage, a terrifying demon infant would pop up from under the sheets, scaring its victims....
