Hilarious! but a serious issue tho... I just read an article, more like "news" in the vanguard online news about a man that tied his seven (7) children to a wheel barrow looking for interested buyers... This depressed and frustrated man firmly tied his children's hands to the wheel barrow as he headed to an unknown destination hoping to sell the children, saying he was fed up with his diminishing economic fortune...
This 44 years old father, Isreal Dike (a native of Odenkume, Obowo local Government area of Imo state but resides in Ugwu Ekwema, Egbu Road, Owerri) would have sold his children if not for the interference of a high powered team led by the commissioner of women affairs, Nma Onyechere after following a tip off... After the interference Mr Dike claimed he wanted to sell some of his children to take care of the others, he also blamed Governor Rochas Okorocha as the cause of his situation( he said the Governor made him a promise a while back and hasn't fulfilled it till date). Commissioner Nma described Mr Dike as a depressed man, who is mentally deranged to the reporters at the scene... Answering a question, she also said the ministry would give the children out to foster parents to ensure proper care and education...
*Shaking my head* at the Father of the children, i don't understand why you should have so many children if you don't have the resources to take proper care of them... Even if you can't control your urge for regular sex, at least use a condom or any other family planning methods...
